Motivational Counselling

“The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives . . . It is too bad that more people will not accept this tremendous discovery and begin living it.” – William James

To be free of your own negative emotions is the greatest freedom anyone can have. Motivational counselling is a directive, client-centred counselling style for eliciting behavioral change by helping clients to explore and resolve ambivalence. Compared with nondirective counselling, my approach is more focused and goal-directed. The examination and resolution of ambivalence is its central purpose, and I will help guide you toward pursuing your goals.
